From Cincinnati to “I Do”

Some love stories begin with a dramatic spark, others with a quiet moment that unfolds into something extraordinary. For Vineela and Alex, it all started in Cincinnati, Ohio — she was in medical school, he was in grad school.

Their very first impressions? Alex admits he thought Vineela was running late. Vineela remembers thinking Alex was cute. Turns out, both were right in their own way.

The early days were full of studying, late nights, and finding pockets of joy in between hectic schedules. But it was during one of the toughest seasons — navigating COVID together and powering through Vineela’s grueling third year of med school — that they both knew: this was it.

A Romantic Lakeside Proposal

When it came time to propose, Alex chose a moment that felt intimate, timeless, and entirely theirs. At a family friend’s lakehouse dock in Door County, Wisconsin, it was just the two of them — the water still, the air quiet, and a “yes” that would change everything. They spent the rest of the weekend in pure celebration, calling it their “engagement-moon” while staying at the coziest bed and breakfast.
