Meg and Willy’s story is a perfect blend of fate, familiarity, and a little modern matchmaking. Although they matched on a dating app, they later discovered they had grown up just down the street from one another and shared several mutual friends. Their first date was at Chicago’s iconic Theater on the Lake. What began as an easy, lighthearted introduction has since grown into a deeply rooted partnership built over more than four years together.

The engagement was a TOTAL surprise - Meg was incredibly impressed by the way Willy pulled it off. He had thrown her off the scent saying he was going to propose at the end of 2024 and then ended up doing it in June! The decoy was a "graduation dinner" for Meg's brother at her grandma's house. It is an incredibly special place to her and it could not have gone better.
